Riders will book all HOTELS through the hotel itself. Please see the “HOTEL” page for updated booking information. Riders will NOT purchase lodging for HOTELS directly from Cycle Zydeco as we did in 2018 and 2017.
There are several options for lodging during the tour from camping to hotels.
You can stay in one of our designated Lafayette hotels every night and is recommended as the "BEST OVERALL HOTEL OPTIONS". Cycle Zydeco has group rates with these hotels and we will offer our shuttle services between the ride site and the designated hotel. Shuttle times will range from 10 to 30 minutes. Enjoy the same bed every night and avoid the hassle of checking in & out and packing/unpacking each day and carrying your luggage. At the end of each day, will have the option to shower in the shower trailer (pack a small day bag) or you can shuttle back to your hotel to shower then shuttle back to the party. If you pack a "day bag" with a towel, shoes and a change of clothes you will put your "day bag" on on of our luggage trucks and your day bag will be waiting for you at the end of ride.
Staying at the "Destination City" designated hotel in the local town which is serviced by Cycle Zydeco shuttles. Cycle Zydeco has group rates with these hotels and we will offer our shuttle services between the ride site and the designated hotel. Shuttle times will range from 5 to 1 5minutes.
Camping with Padre's Cycle Inn getting concierge service with a rented tent, chairs, air mattress and towels.
Camping on your own (with your own gear) outdoor will be available Wednesday through Saturday night. Camping We do have limited indoor camping available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Some cities have local B&B's that are in easy walking/riding distance from the In downtown New Iberia and downtown Breaux Bridge there are a couple of B&B options that are in easy walking/riding distance from the CZ staging & camping site. Some B&B operators will provide rides to and from the CZ staging & camping area.
the 2019 route will leave from Lafayette on Thursday morning and head North to the Grand Coteau/Sunset/Opelousas area. Friday we will travel to Breaux Bridge, LA. Saturday we will travel to New Iberia, LA. Sunday we will return to Lafayette.
